The Fundraising People provide opportunities for you to raise funds for Great Western Air Ambulance.

You buy the products you normally buy on-line from the same supplier at the same price as if going direct.

The only difference is when you buy through us we receive a commission or introducers fee from the supplier that is not available to the individual. We then pay a minimum of 80% of the commissions received to Great Western Air Ambulance.

Great Western Air AmbulanceThe brand new air ambulance charity commenced operations from Bristol Filton airport on 3rd June 2008.

We fly a Eurocopter EC135 helicopter which will cost £1.3 million per year to run and every single penny of this amount will need to be raised from the public as we receive no state aid and are not eligible for lottery funding.

The aircraft operates to a highly sophisticated medical model in that it carries a paramedic trained to Critical Care Practise standard and a doctor trained in pre-hospital trauma and is able to bring the facilities of the "A&E Department" direct to the patient.

It is also one of the few aircraft capable of carrying a child incubator allowing the transportation of seriously ill babies.It costs £15 for every minute of flying time (£900 per hour) and yet one flight could save a life.
